Yoga & hiking in Morocco!

To travel to Morocco is to experience one of the true jewels of North Africa.  You’ll experience a land of profound historical and cultural importance: Morocco is a country where the past and present live together in fascinating harmony.

Join Jen, Nicole & your new yoga friends for six days/five nights immersed in the sights, sounds, and culture of Morocco. Our retreat themes will be woven into our activities in Marrakesh and the High Atlas Mountains. We begin each day with centering & mindfulness to anchor us into our bodies and senses as we explore our inner nature amidst the exquisite surroundings. We can nearly guarantee you’ll find the Moroccan people, culture and history enchantingly exotic, yet comfortingly & elegantly familiar.

You’ll travel to Marrakech, where we’ll arrange an airport pickup to our 17th-century traditional 4-star Riad in the heart of the Medina.  We’ll enjoy a short evening practice and enjoy welcome dinner together.

After a restful night in our stunning riad, we’ll wake to the call of prayer and have a nourishing breakfast followed by is a guided tour to experience the souks & culture -or- museums & gardens of Marrakech.

The Atlas Mountains

After lunch, we’ll set off for the Atlas Mountains.  Here, we’ll spend 4 nights/5 days experiencing true Berber hospitality in our magnificent Kasbah.  Situated in the Toubkal National Park, our stunning eco-retreat named by National Geographic as one of the “Unique Lodges of the World” offers the perfect sanctuary for daily yoga, meditation and exploration.

We’ll be cared for with high vibrational breakfasts & dinners, beautiful gardens and panoramic views of the High Atlas Mountain range. Each day includes really good yoga and customized guided hikes through traditional villages and landscape of the region.

Alternatively, there is time to relax in our award-winning boutique Kasbah with plenty of outdoor lounging space with Moroccan courtyards and bougainvillaea romantically spilling over from private balconies. In lieu of a day’s trekking adventure, you might just decide to spend your days relaxing at the hammam, enjoying a massage or reading a book on the terrace.

After nearly a week in a feast for the senses, we think you’ll return stateside in true wonder at the experiences you’ve received from the stunning beauty of Morocco.
