- Studio lobbies open 15 minutes prior to each class.
- For all classes, arrive 10 minutes early, except your first class, then arrive 15 mins early.
- Please be on time. For safety reasons, it is our policy to lock the door at class start time. We are not able to allow late admittance, even for legitimate reasons like traffic.
- Please do not bring valuables to the studio. Do not leave valuables in the common areas or locker room, including keys. Bring valuables into the studio with you. Locker rooms and storage areas are not secure or monitored; We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items.
All class passes, unlimited months and autorenew monthly memberships are to be used by one student only and may not be shared. All class passes and unlimited membership become active on the day of purchase; fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Workshops and special classes are not included in unlimited memberships. New Client Special may not be extended for any reason.
Currency exchange: We are a cashless studio and accept Visa, Master Card and Discover.
Lost and found: All belongings left behind will be placed in lost and found and donated on the last day of each month. Items may be picked up from the lost and found during our lobby hours, 15 minutes prior to each class on the published schedule. We cannot be responsible for the security and safety of items left behind or lost/stolen during class.
Reservations for in studio classes are a must.
Cancellation policy: Late cancel/no show penalty
If you are unable to attend your reservation, you must cancel your reservation online via your MindBodyOnline account no later than FOUR HOURS prior to start of class (phone calls, emails and DMs are not accepted for cancellations – cancellation notifications made this way will not be received and you will still be assessed cancellation fees). If you fail to cancel your reservation online via your MBO account –or simply do not show up – within a 4-hour window of the start of class, you will be charged a No Show/Late Cancel Fee of $20 per occurrence.
Safety of our clients and staff are our priority, which may necessitate studio closures. Our online schedule or app is the definitive location to view our most up-to-date schedule; we update it 90 minutes prior to class, please check before coming to the studio. If you’ve pre-registered for classes, we’ll send you a personal email if class is cancelled. If classes are canceled due to weather events or Acts of God outside our control — including but not limited to storms, snow, power outages, and flooding, we are unable to offer compensation or adjustments to customer accounts.
Retail return policy
Twist Yoga accepts returns or exchanges for regularly priced merchandise within 14 days of purchase. To be eligible for return, merchandise must have tags attached and be unused, unworn and undamaged. All sales and discounted merchandise are final. Proof of purchase required for all returns.
Twist Monthly Memberships: Monthly AutoRenew policies
No minimum commitment for Premier Membership. No multi-month contract. Simply great unlimited yoga at three studios for $108/month with autorenew. Monthly membership dues are charged to your card the same date every month and continue to charge until you notify us via email of membership termination or suspension.
Flex(ible) Membership – up to 5 classes/mo: Flex Membership is a monthly auto renew membership allowing up to 5 classes/mo per student. Any unused classes will be lost; classes will not roll over. Flex membersip is a contractual agreement with a minimum enrollment of 2 months. Early termination is possible, with a $99 cancellation fee. Memberships activate on day of purchase; Dues are charged to your card the same date every month for Flex Members. After 2 months, Flex Monthly membership dues continue to charge until you notify us of membership termination.
Suspending or terminating memberships:
Suspension: All unlimited monthly members are eligible for one, annual membership suspension (freeze) for a minimum of 2 weeks and maximum of 3 months. A minimum of 14 days notice prior to suspension start is required, and start/end dates of suspension must be submitted in writing via email to firstname.lastname@example.org . We are not able to facilitate suspensions or issue refunds for suspensions requested retroactively. To protect you and create a paper trail, please note we are not able to accommodate suspension requests made in person at the front desk, via social media, over the phone or any other way except emailing us at email@example.com. Flex(ible) memberships cannot be suspended; Flex members may upgrade to an unlimited Premier membership and enjoy suspension privileges.
To terminate (cancel) your membership, requests must be made in writing via email to firstname.lastname@example.org at least 14 days prior to your next charge date. We are not able to offer refunds or account changes with notification 13 days or less prior to a monthly charge. Absolutely no retroactive refunds for notices received after a monthly dues charge, regardless of usage or circumstance. We do not monitor your accounts for non-use; our memberships continue to charge until we receive written directive from you to terminate. Please note all suspension or termination requests must be made in writing via email to email@example.com in order to create a paper trail which protects you.
Freezing or extending 5 or 10 class pass:
For 5 or 10 class passes, one-year expiration date may be adjusted only for medical issues that result in the inability to practice for longer than 7 days. It is the student’s responsibility to notify the studio at the time of injury or illness. We are unable to make adjustments to dates retroactively. A statement of injury or illness must be documented in writing by a physician before any adjustment to the membership is made. Memberships and class packages may not be extended to accommodate non-use, vacation and/or travel dates.
Scholarship discounts for underserved populations:
Twist Yoga’s scholarship program is to benefit underserved populations including, but not limited to – people of color, LGBTQ, veterans, disabled and fixed income seniors – as part of our overall mission that yoga shall be available to everyone. It serves our effort for an inclusive yoga community that allow the teachings, practice and benefits of yoga to be accessible for everyone across socioeconomic and demographic groups. Scholarship is meant to encourage individuals who are passionate about delving into their spiritual practice, benefiting from meditation or the physical practice of yoga. We offer variable discounts and work trade; all access is decided on a case by case basis, however no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire; we will do everything we can to ensure access, however scholarship must be arranged via email prior to your first class.
Family/partner membership discounts:
Families who practice together, stay together! Yes, we do offer family discounts, available on our Premier Membership only. If one household member is a full-paying Premier Monthly Member, additional household residents receive 30% off in his/her Premier Monthly Membership. Please see a manager to set this up. Terms: Must reside in the same residence. Applies to all family relationships: spouses, partners, mother/daughter, etc. Cannot be combined with any other offer. If primary member receives a discounted membership, then secondary member’s discount = 30% MINUS the primary discount.
Yes, we do offer student discounts! Full time students (with valid student ID) enjoy 20% off any *full priced* class pass, drop in or membership. Cannot be combined with any other offer or discount. Not valid on New Client Special.
Twist Yoga reserves the right to cancel or change the date, teacher or time of any class, workshop, or retreat. We will do our best to notify participants in a timely manner if this occurs. Only on very rare occasions do we have to cancel classes or close the studio. Please download and book your classes on our App for the most up-to-date schedule & to ensure the most effective communcation for class cancellations and sell outs. If workshops, retreats or trainings are cancelled, we offer full refunds. We do not offer refunds, account credit or extensions due to changes, cancellations, or teacher substitutions on our drop-in schedule.
