I’m a strong individual who loves to challenge myself, especially towards fitness and health. Born and raised in Japan, I moved to the U.S in 2013, where I felt many struggles of stress, depression, confusion through culture shock, homesickness, and a feeling of identity loss.
After trying different activities, I discovered yoga. Through continued practices of yoga and meditation, I was able to gain knowledge and better understanding myself. Yoga has changed the way that I see the world and my hope is to share how to use the practice to live peacefully and heal. I became a teacher to create a safe and an enjoyable environment where everyone can feel welcome and become powerful together.
