Karie is a RYT Yoga Teacher, Outdoor Adventure Guide and 2nd year Nursing School Student. Utilizing the physical practice of yoga as a gateway to access the mental, emotional and spiritual body, Karie strives to inclusively support students as they begin to create an enlivened and engaged life.
Currently, Karie’s instruction is largely informed by her own journey to rehabilitate injuries sustained in a car accident and those influenced by years of cycling. Her classes are fundamentally alignment-based, thoughtfully challenging, calm and reflective. Karie’s style is heavily influenced by long term sustainable movement, artful self reflection and introspection with a passion for creating a space where all are truly welcome.
Whether in the mountains, on the yoga mat, is one of Karie’s greatest joys to see people ascend beyond what they once thought difficult or even impossible. When not teaching or co-creating mindful movement practices, you can find Karie in the mountains, paddling on the water, riding one of her bikes.
