Julie helps people find and maintain a peaceful mind and body through thoughtful sequencing and detailed verbal cues which emphasize the connection between breath and movement, effort and ease, and stretching and strengthening.
She began her personal yoga practice in 2009 and completed her 200-hour teacher training through Twist Yoga in 2019. Since then, Julie helps students who are looking for a grounding, well balanced yoga class to increase mindfulness, calm anxiety, and release tension in the body.
Additionally, she skillfully encourages students to customize their practice to suit their individual needs. She often incorporates props into her classes and provides examples for modifications and variations of poses. Julie’s classes accommodate a wide variety of students, and she invites anyone to try out her classes.
