Do you enjoy a rigorous yoga practice, but feel discomfort in your arms, shoulders or back? Do you feel impingement as you transition from Plank to Chaturanga to Upward Facing Dog? Are you unsure as to how you should transition?
Sometimes in our eagerness to get deeper into poses, we put ourselves in danger of injury. Our competitive side comes out, and we take poses or sequences to the most “advanced” level that we can, which is not always the best choice. Often, even the smallest adjustment can make your poses safer, ensuring that you can enjoy an injury free practice for years to come.
Join us for this small group workshop where we will comb through your half-series and fine tune it to perfection.
This is an excellent class for anyone. If you are new to yoga, you will learn all the details of executing a safe and effective sun salutation- which is the heart of your vinyasa practice. If you have been practicing for a while, this will give you the opportunity to honestly examine what you have been doing, and refine and evolve your practice into something that is dynamic and sustainable for the rest of your life.
Every aspect of the half-series will be examined as we inspect and perfect each pose and transition. Class size is limited to 12 participants for personal attention.
Registration & Tuition: $30 if registered by 1/29. $35 after. Click here to access registration.
Cancellation Policy: Refunds available, less a 15% administration fee, up to seven days prior to workshop. No refunds allowable after that time.
