It’s our Yoga for Athletes series, Hikers’ edition!
Unlock your hiking potential in this specialized yoga class designed for hikers looking to improve hiking performance and mitigate injury risk. Whether you’ve been hiking your whole life or have only done Rattlesnake Ledge, this practice gives a solid understanding as to how yoga can support your hiking (you don’t need to know how to do yoga, either).
In this class, you’ll experience a complete yoga practice, and we’ll briefly discuss the ins and outs of utilizing yoga to help support you during hiking season.
Your teacher Elena is a Seattle-based movement specialist and yoga teacher whose clients range from professional and high-performance athletes to individuals looking to move and feel better in their bodies. Her extensive experience working with athletes in private and group settings allows her to demystify what it means to combine yoga with athletics, and she is inspired to share this with you!
What to bring
Wear yoga/comfortable athletic clothes, your yoga mat (or rent one from us for $5) and a water bottle. All other props provided.
