Winter is approaching and according to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM,) it is a good time to slow down, reflect and replenish the body, mind and spirit. Join Carmen for a two hour workshop where we’ll embark on a  journey of yoga, massage, meditation and self care to prepare ourselves for the upcoming winter season.

Taking cues from Ayurveda and TCM, we will use Myofascial Release (MFR) to heal and hydrate our muscles and connective tissues.  In addition to nourishing our trigger points and meridians specific to the season, we’ll also spend some time massaging areas where we commonly hold tension and stress.  We will explore some gentle and restorative yoga poses to move energy and down-regulate our nervous systems.  You will leave feeling refreshed, relaxed and ready to thrive in your transition from Fall to Winter.

MFR balls and props will be provided. Personal sets of MFR balls will be available for purchase at the event for $20 per set.

Class size: limited to 12 participants.

Exchange: $50 members/$59 non-members. Add $10 day of workshop.

What to bring: Your yoga mat (available for rent) and comfortable clothes. Dress in layers. Bring a water bottle and/or mug for tea.

Reservations a must.  Doors open 15 minutes prior to event. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early and make sure to check in with the front desk to secure your spot.

Cancellation policy: Refunds allowed, with a 15% service charge, up until 14 days prior to workshop.  After, no refunds or credits offered, including for failure to attend event.
