The Fall Equinox is the time when the Earth’s axis begins to tilt away from the sun, as we shift from expansion, warmth, and light to introspection, coolness, and darkness. On the Equinox we find harmony with an equal length of day and night before beginning the transition toward longer nights and shorter days. The Fall Equinox is peak Harvest, where we take stock of all we’ve gained, grown, and learned, and begin to slow so that we can integrate and illuminate those offerings.
Through this 2-hour yoga ceremony, you will be given the opportunity to connect with the seasonal shift happening both outside and within you. The workshop will include contemplative practices, guided inquiry and journal prompts, and breathwork, followed by a hip-focused asana practice to tap into your ability to flow and find the source of your light within. The practice will conclude with an extended savasana accompanied by sound.
