Location: Downtown Edmonds

Using Dharana (concentration), the sixth limb from Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, we will explore the meditative power of the asana practice, and how deep concentration within the poses can transform your everyday practice into a practice full of intention and healing.

Creating a focused and embodied practice requires honing your awareness in the poses. Learn how to direct your awareness into the body using physical points of concentration, inner monologue, and alignment. Using specific exercises to strengthen your connection to the subtleties of the asana, you’ll learn to create a steady meditative experience in your body every time you practice.

Bring a pen to take some notes, and come prepared to move.
