Using Dharana (concentration), the sixth limb from Pantanjali’s Yoga Sutras, we will explore the meditative power of the asana practice, and how deep concentration within the poses can transform your everyday practice into a practice full of intention and healing.

Creating an embodied practice requires honing your awareness within the yoga poses. Learn how to direct your awareness into the body using physical points of concentration, inner monologue, and alignment. Using specific exercises to strengthen your connection to the subtleties of the asana you’ll learn to create a steady meditative experience in your body every time you practice.
