Frequently asked questions
What if my body feels tight and so different than pre-pandemic? I’m so tight and feel weaker than I did before.
You are in the right place. You are where you begin, again and again.
Do we meet in studio or online?
Either! Yoga for You was borne from our (and your!) desire to get back into the studio. In the safest possible way with compliance and safety as our top priority. If you prefer to meet virtually, great, we will see you on Zoom.
Will the teacher be socialy distant and wearing a mask?
Yes. You’ll both be.
Memberships: what if I can’t make this week’s session?
Practice is best when it’s consistent. We are able to offer these private sessions at the prices we do if weekly/monthly sessions are at the same time every week/month. We offer one reschedule per membership; after that, sessions will be lost. Sessions do not roll over to the next month if they’re missed.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes that will stretch. Yoga is done in your bare feet. Bring your mat or purchase one in studio.
What props should I bring?
None. In private sessions, we provide santitized props and everything you’ll need except mats and water.
Should I eat before I come to our session?
Having something light in your stomach before class is fine to keep energy and blood sugar levels up, but avoid any heavy or large meals for at least 2 hours before class. Also, you will have a better experience if you come to class hydrated.
Is there a secure place to change and store belongings?
Yes, to both.
